A Taste of The Whiskey District & The Fall Equinox

Join us for an afternoon of delicious food and a fascinating presentation all about the sun and the upcoming Fall Equinox at Eagle Butte Observatory.

The tour begins at The Whiskey District, where guests are welcomed with a signature mocktail and your choice of brunch:

1. Sweet Potato & Ham Skillet
Baked sweet potato, hashbrowns, sauteed peppers, diced ham, mushrooms, & onions, all topped with cinnamon goat cheese, arugula, toasted pumpkin seeds & a medium poached egg, served in a hot skillet 
Naturally gluten free

2. Avocado Toast
Fresh baked apple & pumpkin spiced soda bread, topped with sliced avocado, tomato, & micro greens. Served with hashbrowns.
Vegan. Can be made gluten free upon request. Please note dietary needs at the time of booking.

From The Whiskey District guests will board the Sunshine Trolley and head to the Eagle Butte Observatory. to learn all about the sun and the upcoming Fall Equinox. Amateur Astronomer Rod Devries will lead an insightful presentation about the sun and the upcoming Fall Equinox. The sun is the most neglected star in our skies! It’s like the first tree of a beautiful forest visitors routinely rush past in the quest to “see and experience” the forest. Our Sun is the closest star of the many thousands of stars we love to gaze at and use to trace the pictures of the constellations. On this tour we will take time to enjoy our very own star…the Sun!

When the experience at Eagle Butte Observatory ends you will board the Sunshine Trolley to return to your vehicle at The Whiskey District.

Please arrive at The Whiskey District at 12:15pm. The tour will return to The Whiskey District following the presentation at Eagle Butte Observatory, at approximately 4pm. Guests are welcome to leave vehicles
